ZZK Records Presents Ghetto Kumbé’s ‘Djabe (Monte Remix)’, the 8th single off the upcoming remix album 'Ghetto Kumbé Clubbing Remixes', out on all digital platforms November 9th, 2022.

As the founder of Bomba Estéreo, Simón Mejía has spent more than 15 years expanding the boundaries of Latin pop music, and Monte is his more introspective solo moniker, a project devoted to the natural sounds of his native Colombia. His fuzzy rework of ‘Djabe’ isn’t technically an ambient track—there’s still some bump in its low end—but there’s a lot of serenity (and birdsong) in the song’s quietly triumphant trajectory.

'Ghetto Kumbé Clubbing Remixes' will be released on November 9th, 2022.
